This is the same as the no mess sunflower hearts just ground fine so it can be used in a goldfinch style feeder. This fine sunflower heart is also what is mixed with nyjer seed in our finch blend.

Goldfinches love all types of seeds but they prefer to feed as a group. Goldfinch or thistle style feeders aren’t used by many other birds so it allows the goldfinch to have their own feeder.
