It’s not too late to attract Bluebirds this season. Remember, their breeding season lasts at least through mid-August. We have Bluebird boxes in stock from $22 up with mounting options.
Hummingbirds are beginning to arrive in small numbers so if you’re in need of a new hummingbird feeder let us know and we can make some recommendations based on your needs, capacity, ease of cleaning, etc.
If your Goldfinch feeders have been on the slow side you may want to take them down, give them a good cleaning and freshen up the seed. The really wet last few months have made for some slow Goldfinch activity. Goldfinches are thought of as finicky but I disagree. If you were exclusively a seed eater, and Goldfinches are, would you want to eat from a feeder with seed that is wet and moldy? Of course not, you would find your food in nature or at some other clean feeder with seed in good condition. You should see a difference at your feeders if you give them some needed attention.

The incense sticks come 12 to a pack and each stick will burn up to 2.5 hours, while the candles will burn up to 30 hours. This is not your basic Cintronella candle that doesn’t really work. Amazon Lights have a greater amount of Cintronella and contains Brazilian Andiroba, Rosemary and Thyme. My back porch is never without it in the spring and summer months. I use a small flower pot with sand to hold the incense sticks. If I don’t burn it the entire 2.5 hours I flip the stick and extinguish it in the sand for later use.
